We visited we a friend who lives in town and is regular. He did make reservations for 7:45 so we would miss the evening theater crowd. Great pick your toppings thin crust pizza (there is a checklist on the table for each pizza), about medium sized .A decent size bowl of spaghetti and meat balls. My wife loved her linguine. I love this restaurant. Whether you go for lunch or dinner you can always be guaranteed a wonderful meal. The new owners have added a few new dishes to the menu and I have to say, the service is friendlier than it used to be under the previous owners. I had the caesar salad (the dressing is amazing) and baked penne which was cooked perfectly (al dente). There was no room for dessert but the crepes sounded fantastic. Lire plus

Visited from out of the town to eat. To our unexpected surprise we were greeted by the rudest hostess. We decided to leave after not feeling welcome. I mentioned that there are many places to dine and thought they would like the business of a family of 8 on a sat 4:30pm. Her response oh no, we will be busy tonight anyway. My husband and I dined at La Casa on Saturday night. We started with Mussels for appetizer - delicious...I wanted to drink the sauce it was so good. We also shared a Ceasar Salad. The dressing was very nice, perhaps a bit too much garlic (a little too overwhelming). Still tasty though. I ordered lobster pasta, all I can say is DELICIOUS! So tasty. I brought some home and was looking forward to eating it again the next day for lunch. My husband ordered beef tenderloin. Again, delicious! Tender, perfectly cooked and tasty. The waiter was very professional and friendly. We had a great time and a fantastic meal. No wonder La Casa is still one of the best restaurant's in London. It's so nice to go out for dinner and receive a great meal. The meals are not pretentious or overpriced (unlike other London restaurants in the downtown area). The food is simply delicious. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely LOVE this place. Food is amazing every time, servers are friendly and prompt, and the atmosphere is very casual. Only thing that keeps me from coming here as often as I would is the price. The meals, especially the pizza, is a little highly priced. Other than that, I highly reccomend it! I have been a huge fan of Tonys for years. Been going to the location on Dundas for ages and this place is so classic Italian its such a London landmark. The portions are huge and I always order the large panzerotti just so I can take some home, awesome the next day. If u want pizza with upgraded ingredients, great taste, perfect crust, perfect moisture content. To nit pick, outer rims of thickly cut hot sausage slightly over cooked. Did not want to mention as they may cut sausage thinner. Website better than others, Will order timed pizza next as it took me longer than 15 mins to get there.
