I researched options through the Ecology Action Centre and Natural Resources Canada website. I called 9 home heating contractors using the NS Power Contractors List. 5 came to our home. Our furnace failed just hours before a family gathering on Dec 26. We called Kaulback Heating early the next morning. They quickly got back to us saying they would try to fit us in as soon as possible. Technicians showed up within two hours, diagnosed the fault as a failed blower motor. They obtained and installed a replacement motor bringing the furnace online within a few hours. The cost for this outstanding service was unbelievable reasonable. Will use again and refer them unconditionally.

inexpensive yearly checkups, better to keep that furnace running well for the checkup price than have it run poorly burning expensive oil you cant afford!

Candu was recommended to us by a trusted acquaintance. My wife and I found them to be friendly and available when we called. They gave us a quote for an upgrade to our furnace which would make it more efficient and would save money. We hired them and found that they were prompt, their prices were reasonable and the workmanship was meticulous. We have already noticed the efficiency in our furnace. We are now going to rely on them to do our yearly maintenance.
